Spring, Summer and Autumn provide an ever changing environment for ingredients which are ideal for visiting markets and doing some cookery.

These short breaks (duration up to you- we would recommend 3 days minimum to get the best from the area) are aimed at those interested in cookery and ingredients but in a relaxed atmosphere where you have the option to join in cooking with chef Jack or simply hang out and watch it being done in front of you! 

All accommodation and food are included and we will be providing some local wine as well. Our courses, rooted in rustic, home style cookery, focus on extracting the best from ingredients for beautifully simple, yet exquisite meals.

The weekend will include cooking seasonal vegetables (depending on what is available at the markets), preparing and cooking other ingredients such as fresh fish and meat, sourdough bread making, fresh pasta making and some delicious desserts. All we will be visiting markets, doing wine tastings, having a meal out, out for morning walks, relaxing coffee by the canal and even a wild swim in a local river for the brave!
